Today I conclude that: Always having high expectations ruins everything. Why do we do that to ourselves? We want something that is too good and just merely getting it kills us. All the hoping and wishing turns into disappointment in a matter of seconds. I blame the all the movies! With all the "perfect" people with their "perfect" lives that has infected us with the thought that "we deserve better." Ofcourse we deserve better than bad, but it's never enough, is it?Why is it so hard to just appreciate what we have and not expecting for more? Maybe it's just a part of life as a human. I don't know the answer. |
