Today I conclude that: Always having high expectations ruins everything. Why do we do that to ourselves? We want something that is too good and just merely getting it kills us. All the hoping and wishing turns into disappointment in a matter of seconds. I blame the all the movies! With all the "perfect" people with their "perfect" lives that has infected us with the thought that "we deserve better." Ofcourse we deserve better than bad, but it's never enough, is it?Why is it so hard to just appreciate what we have and not expecting for more? Maybe it's just a part of life as a human. So right now I should be studying but instead I'm looking at online brochures of Republic of Maldives. and can I say that I'm in loveeeeee?? I mean looking at the pictures alone is mouthwatering but after reading some facts about their culture there is extremely fascinating! did you know it consists of 1,190 islands? I love how they have their own language and currency, it makes it very exotic and so hard to resist! I'm definitely going to go there in the next five years!    Anyways back to studying. I'll day dream later. lol |
